Cargill Park

An extensive master planning review process was completed with the neighboring community of Burbank, the local school district and the Army Corp of Engineers for 25 acres of park property located near the confluence of the Snake and Columbia River.

Design development plans for the park include the following features: pedestrian trails and walkways, a pedestrian bridge, a series of children’s play areas, skate park, fishing piers, pedestrian overlooks, restrooms, gazebo, habitat plant zones, improved water’s edges, open meadows, boat ramp improvements and parking.

The new park will serve as a cornerstone and entry way to the Port of Walla Walla’s new Burbank Business Park Phase II, (a 112 acre commercial and light industrial business park) located just to the east.
