Washington State University,

Vancouver Branch Campus

Completed design development and final construction documents for the infra-structure expansion of the campus. The scope included several parking lots, rain gardens, pedestrian linkage along a creek riparian corridor within the heart of the campus. Design elements included emergency call centers, benches, bollards, lighting, a concrete step system, landscape and irrigation. Special planting mitigate measures for the pedestrian linkage were implemented.

Mr. Zollner was the project landscape architect while working for another firm. The design team worked closely with the University Facilities Staff and initially with a staff review committee in gaining approval of the design development design.

The above noted improvements were a component of the overall master plan that was adopted and approved in the mid 1990’s.
